Clash of Clans Halloween update: 9 new features you need to know about

Clash of Clans Halloween update is in full swing! Supercell treated us to another season bonus, but it’s not just a spooky new intro, there’s a whole load of new features to check out too.

If you are a cheapo farmer then you might not like them all, but some of them are temporary so hurry before they’re gone!

There’s resources boosts, extra guns, additional stats and a whole new trap type.

Here are the best new features, in order of awesomeness:

1. Skeleton trap

What an awesome new feature! Anybody worried about spending their money upgrading these if they are just temporary for Halloween, fret not: the skeleton traps are here to stay (some people are still bitter about their Santa bomb disappearing last Christmas).

Unlockable and upgradeable to lv2 at Town Hall 8, and maxable at TH 9, each trap releases a pair of skeletons (you get an extra skeleton per level upgraded) similar to the witch’s summoned buddies.

They are great for distracting Archers and Barbarians, but even better for picking away at slow troops that don’t defend themselves, like Giants and Golems.

Better still, they can be switched to air mode where they can pull down balloons at their leisure. They have the largest trigger radius of the traps at five spaces, and arent nearly as expensive as the great bombs to reset.

Plus they only need one tile to hide! Stick them deep inside your base.

2. Mortar number 4

A new mortar! Probably introduced because everyone is raiding with Barcher armies these days, pummelling your way into a village’s storage is going to be a little tougher now with a fourth mortar splashing weaker troops to bits.

3. Player profile troop info

This is invaluable for clan moms. Suspect someone in your clan is holding out donating a troop claiming they don’t have the level required? Now you can bust them.

Each player’s unlocked troops and their highest researched level is now displayed in their profile.

Excellent for organising who cooks what for Clan Castle defences during war.

4. Spooky obstacles!

How cute are these?! Zoom right into the obstacles to find pumpkins, skulls, bones and spooky faces carved into them. Watch out for the headstone – it’s expensive to remove at 25,000 Elixir, but you immediately get your pink back three-fold, so dont hestitate to snap up that 75,000.

Sadly, we imagine these will disappear after Halloween.

5. War loot + league bonus

League bonuses have always been a bit of a joke… now at least they are less so. Most people won’t raid a village if they dont have six figure resources for stalking, so the extra measly 5,000 or so you got for a successful gold III raid for example wasn’t much of an incentive.

Now you get 8,000 for that level – not much of a raise but better than nothing I suppose.

War loot has been plumped up much higher though, with castle stores bursting at the seams following a successful war.

6. One-gem spell boosts

Another temporary bonus for the Halloween week unfortunately, spell factories can be boosted for just one gem to cook your spells four times faster for two hours.

Great for if you’re using lightning to take out defences while speed raiding.

7. Clan profile info

A nice little touch: clans can advertise how often they war and where they are based, and players can search for clans via this.

Each clan is also issued a unique code now as well, so if you are looking for a good original clan name like Dragon Warriors, you can find the specific one.

8. One-button resource boost

This one’s for the lazy clashers – instead of individually gem boosting your resources, you can boost them all with a single click. I know upgrading each piece of wall was a pain to some people but come on – the most you have is seven mines.

9. Maintenance pause

This one is such a no-brainer, I was shocked it wasn’t already the case. Have you ever spent your valuable gems boosting a resource, only for a maintence break to come and interrupt it?

I haven’t, and I’m glad because I would have thrown my phone at the wall if I had. Now gem boosts will pause for maintenence breaks so you can resume them afterward. Duh Supercell!

Hog Rider (Melee Ground Troop)

• WE PITY THE FOOL! These Hog Riders totally look like Mr. T-lookalikes, right? Anyway, these troop types hit their max level at level 5 (their look stays the same at level 1 & 2 and levels 3 & 4). These unit types have the special ability to hop over Walls, so produce a two or three of them and try to keep them alive with your Healing Spell. They can dish out some high damage once they start tearing into enemy troops.

• Hog Riders and Giants make a good troop combination. Hog Riders are pretty great for distracting Clan Castle troops, due to their ability to clear Walls and run straight up to the Clan Castle. Use these Hog Riders to make Clan Castle troops get active so that your other troop deployments can tear them down easily.

• Taking them apart means you’ll need to build up some Inferno Towers and throw some Giant Bombs their way.

Clash of Clans, tutti i consigli e i trucchi per costruire un villaggio e ottenere risorse

Clash of Clans è un gioco della Supercell, disponibile per iOs e Android ed è stato lanciato sul mercato nel 2012. Il gioco consiste nel creare il proprio villaggio, e al videogiocatore è concesso di costruirlo nel modo in cui crede più giusto. Ad ogni livello il videogiocatore ha a disposizione dei nuovi pezzi, come mura, cannoni, antiaerea e altri elementi che deve e può aggiungere al proprio villaggio. Per ottenere le risorse si potranno attaccare i nemici oppure costruire degli estrattori, che ci forniranno una quantità limitata di oro, elisir e negli ultimi livelli di elisir nero.

Uno dei primi consigli che vi vogliamo dare sul costruire il vostro villaggio è quello di livellare ogni elemento che vi viene dato fino al massimo, prima di upgradare il vostro municipio, infatti così avrete maggiori possibilità di trovare elisir e oro negli attacchi che sferrerete ai vostri nemici. Poiché se invece salite troppo di livello con il municipio, senza livellare tutti gli elementi presenti nel vostro villaggio, il gioco non vi penalizzerà. Uno dei trucchi invece per evitare che gli attacchi dei nemici vi portino via gran parte delle risorse che avete messo da parte, è quello di mettere il vostro municipio al di fuori delle mura, così chi vi attaccherà si limiterà a distruggere il vostro municipio lasciando intatte le risorse.

Il secondo consiglio che vi vogliamo dare è quello di non salire troppo con le coppe, ma di restare bassi poiché così avrete maggiori possibilità di conquistare risorse, ma soprattutto di non venir rasi al suolo da ogni attacco nemico. Infatti se salirete troppo non sarete capaci di difendervi dagli attacchi nemici, poiché le vostre difese saranno di un livello troppo basso.

Uno dei trucchi di Clash of Clans è quello di saper spendere nel migliore dei modi le gemme che guadagnerete dai trofei: infatti con quest'ultime vi consigliamo prima di tutto di mettere fino ad un massimo di tre capanne del muratore, così che potrete sempre costruire o aggiornare tutti gli elementi, ed infine vi consigliamo di utilizzarle per mettere il Re Barbaro al livello 7 del municipio, quando ancora non avrete l'estrattore di elisir nero, ma soltanto il raccoglitore. Infine, se volete ottenere facilmente le risorse, dovrete costruirvi delle truppe ad hoc, ovvero una folta schiera di giganti, che attirerà su di sé tutti i colpi delle difese nemiche, un minimo di 4 spaccamuri ed infine un'orda di goblin che razzierà le risorse nemiche.

Tutte le novità sull'aggiornamento di Halloween per il videogioco Clash of Clans.

Mancano ormai pochi giorni ad Halloween, e come ormai ogni anno anche il gioco della Supercell, ovvero Clash Of Clans, riceverà il tanto atteso aggiornamento di Halloween. Clash of Clans è un videogioco di strategia, che è stato immesso nel mercato delle app il 2 agosto 2012. È possibile scaricare il videogioco sia sull'App Store di iOS, che sul Play Store di Android. L'obiettivo del videogioco consiste nel costruire il proprio villaggio e cercare di difendersi dagli attacchi degli altri giocatori, ma allo stesso tempo anche quello di attaccare i villaggi nemici, così da salire con i trofei e soprattutto rubare e ottenere le importanti risorse.

 Infatti, in Clash of Clans, giocano un ruolo molto importante anche le risorse, ovvero l'Oro, l'Elisir e l'Elisir Nero: con l'Oro avrete la possibilità di migliorare quasi tutte le strutture del vostro villaggio, come le mura, gli armamenti e il municipio; con l'Elisir invece potrete migliorare le caratteristiche delle vostre truppe, mentre con l'Elisir Nero avrete l'accesso a delle truppe molto forti, come il Re Barbaro e la Regina degli arcieri, ma anche di caricare le vostre armi più potenti, che distruggeranno con facilità l'immensa orda di nemici.

L'aggiornamento di Halloween per Clash of Clans andrà a migliorare diverse cose, ma partiamo dalla prima delle tante novità che verranno introdotte. È stato implementato il boost degli edifici, ovvero con un solo tasto vi sarà la possibilità di dare il boost a tutti gli edifici simili; inoltre con questo nuovo aggiornamento il boost si interromperà durante la manutenzione del server, e vi sarà la possibilità di farlo ripartire quando il server sarà di nuovo online. Tra le novità, dell'aggiornamento di Halloween per Clash of Clans, vi sarà anche quella di una nuova descrizione del Clan; infatti potrete specificare la nazionalità del Clan, la frequenza con cui si effettuano le Clan War, e si avrà anche la possibilità di cercare per la Clan War, i Clan che hanno le vostre stesse specifiche.

Un'altra novità che verrà immessa con l'aggiornamento di Halloween per Clash of Clans, sarà il Clan Tag, ovvero ogni clan avrà un proprio hashtag con il quale si differenzierà dagli altri Clan con lo stesso nome. Inoltre, sul profilo utente sarà possibile vedere quale truppe, magie ed eroi sono stati sbloccati, e addirittura a che livello sono. Infine, in un'immagine degli sviluppatori è saltato fuori anche un quarto cannone, e questa potrebbe essere un'importante novitànell'equilibrio del proprio villaggio, anche se ovviamente sarà disponibile soltanto per quei villaggi che hanno il municipio al massimo livello.
